Cancellation & Refund Policy

We understand that travel plans can change. This policy explains how cancellations and refunds work for tours, yatras and vehicle bookings made with Shree Shyam Yatra Company.

1. How to cancel

To cancel a booking, send us a message on WhatsApp at +91 97825 55543 or email info@shreeshyamyatracompany.com with your name, travel date and booking details. The cancellation date is the date we receive your message.

2. Cancellation charges

Cancellation charges depend on how close to the travel date you cancel, and on the services booked. The earlier you cancel, the lower the charges.

  • The applicable cancellation charges are stated in your booking confirmation.
  • Amounts already paid to hotels, desert camps, safari operators or other third parties are refunded only to the extent those providers refund them to us.
  • If you do not show up at the pickup point, or cancel after the trip has started, no refund is given for the unused part of the trip.

3. Cancellation by us

If we have to cancel your booking for reasons within our control, you will receive a full refund of the amount paid, or you may choose to move the booking to another date.

If a trip cannot go ahead because of events outside our control, such as natural disasters, government orders, road closures or curfews, we will offer a new date. Refunds in such cases are given after deducting any non-refundable amounts already paid to hotels or other providers.

4. Changing your date instead of cancelling

If you would like to postpone rather than cancel, contact us as early as possible. Where vehicles and hotels are available, we will try to move your booking without extra charges. Any difference in price for the new dates will be adjusted.

5. Refund process

  • Approved refunds are paid to the original payment method or by bank transfer / UPI.
  • Refunds are normally processed within 7 to 10 working days of the cancellation being confirmed.
  • Bank or payment gateway charges, if any, may be deducted.
